Passionate about food and how it is brought to the market, I am dedicated to searching for quality produce made with real love and passion by small producers who I love to discover and meet in person.
Born and raised in Florence, following a degree in Sociology, an MA in Public health in Barcelona and a postgraduate diploma in Medical Anthropology in Milan, I decided to specialize in the History and Culture of Food at the University of Bologna with Prof. Massimo Montanari. I teach History of Italian gastronomy, Sustainability in the Italian Food Industry, Nutrition and Mediterranean Diet in several American universities in Florence.
I am a licensed guide of Florence.
